From Russia With Love (1963)

Rosa Klebb, played by Lotte Lenya
The organization SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion) has created a plan to steal a decoding device called a Lektor from the Soviets. The head of SPECTRE, deemed Number 1, appoints Rosa Klebb (Number 3) as head of the operation.

Klebb develops an expert plan to have Bond unknowingly retrieve the Lektor. She hires an ex-KGB assassin, Red Grant, and tricks a Soviet  consulate clerk, Tatiana Romanova, to help Bond. She orders Grant to follow Bond and protect him as Bond makes his way to get the Lektor. While on the Orient Express, Grant is to impersonate a fellow MI6 agent, kill Bond and Romanova, and deliver the Lektor to Klebb.

Tatiana Romanova, played by Daniela Bianchi
MI6 receives a message from Romanova, detailing that she will give Britain the Lektor, which Britain and the United States have been looking for in years, on one condition: Bond meets her to get the Lektor. Bond flies out to Istanbul, and there he meets Kerim Bey, an MI6 ally. Bond, Bey, and Romanova go on a chase to retrieve the Lektor, unknownst to them that they are being followed by Red Grant.

Will Grant complete his mission, or will Bond? Watch From Russia With Love to find out!

Red Grant, played by Robert Shaw
From Russia With Love is the second installment in the James Bond series. It features Sean Connery as James Bond. I personally enjoyed this movie a lot. The plot was great, and I especially like the humor Red Grant and Bond exchange during their meeting on the Orient Express. I also liked Rosa Klebb, who was played by Lotte Lenya The movie was adapted into a video game in 2005, whith Sean Connery as the voice of James Bond. I hope you guys have a better picture of what this movie is about!

  1. It said James Bond is back. Do you know where he originated from? I love some of the newer Bond movies, but they dont have the same awesomeness they used to.
