Lupe Lamora, played by Tolisa Soto
Bond and his best pal, DEA agent Felix Leiter, are on their way to Felix's wedding in the Bahamas when DEA agents in a helicopter inform Leiter that Franz Sanchez, a major druglord in South America, is close by. Leiter and Bond get in the helicopter and go to the airstrip Sanchez is at. Bond briefly meets Sanchez's girlfriend, Lupe Lamora. After a huge chase, Sanchez is captured and Bond and Leiter go to the wedding.

Just as Bond is about to board his plane back to London, he sees on the news that Sanchez has escaped custody. 007 rushes to the house and finds Felix's wife dead and Felix barely alive. Bond immediately suspects Sanchez and goes rogue to find and kill him.

Franz Sanchez, played by Robert Davi
Bond meets up with one of Felix's contacts, Pam Bouvier, at a local bar. Sanchez's men attack both of them, and they escape on a boat. They develop a plan to take down Sanchez's whole drug operation in Isthmus City.

In Isthmus City, Bond goes undercover, posing as an assassin-for-hire. Sanchez recruits him, and eventually allows Bond his utmost trust.

Will Bond bring revenge upon Sanchez? Find out in Licence to Kill!

Pam Bouvier, played by Carey Lowell
I really liked Licence to Kill. I'm a real big fan of the 80s, especially the movies. Sanchez reminds me of Tony Montana from Scarface. The movie shows Bond's weak side, which is his loyalty to his friends. He risked his job going after Sanchez.  That takes a lot of guts to do something like that. The acting is also very good. Bond is split between which girl he wants, Lupe or Pam. Also, Wayne Newton takes on a small part. I would recommend this movie.

A View to a Kill (1985)

Max Zorin, played by Christopher Walken
James Bond is sent to Siberia to recover a microchip a fellow agent had retrieved. Bond finds the body of the agent, and the microchip is hidden in a necklace. Bond is then chased through the snowy mountains. He escapes, and returns to London.

Q examines the microchip, and discovers it is an exact copy of microchips created by Zorin Industries. Bond travels to a horse track and observes the company's owner, Max Zorin. Bond meets  an MI6 ally, Sir Godfrey Tibbett, who is a horse trainer. Zorin's horse wins, but seems very excited and hard to calm down. Tibbett tells Bond he believes that Zorin is using drugs on his horse, although nothing shows up on the pre-race drug tests.

Bond then travels to Zorin's French estate, where Zorin is holding his annual horse sale. Tibbett also tags along, and both discover that Zorin is using remote-controlled, drug-releasing microchips that guarnatees Zorin's horse to won everytime. Zorin bodyguard, May Day, realizes the two agents discovered Zorin's secret, and assassinates Tibbett. Bond manages to escape, and goes to San Francisco.

In San Francisco, Bond tracks down a geologist, Stacey Sutton, who was at Zorin's estate in France. The two discover that Zorin is planning to flood Silicon Valley, giving Zorin a huge monopoly in the microchip market.
Stacey Sutton, played by Tanya Roberts

Will Zorin's plan work? Watch the movie to find out!

A View to a Kill may have been the worst Bond movie ever, and definitely in the worst five. The main problem is Roger Moore, who plays Bond. At the time, Moore was 57 years old. He just didn't have the Bond attractiveness anymore. He looked like a retiree. Another thing was one scene where Zorin and his assistant annhilate miners in the mines. It was a no mercy slaughter, and to me, that isn't James Bond material. The one thing I do like is the theme song of the movie, played by Duran Duran.
